Overview
CENIT was founded in April 1991 to contribute to the debate on alternatives for economic and social transformation in Argentina, through studies and investigations to analyze the structural changes in Argentina's economy—internally and in international relations. CENIT research is focused on the analysis of the new conditions of competition imposed by programs of structural reforms, technological change and changes in the factors of competitiveness internationally. Within this general framework, studies are undertaken on the process of economic integration into MERCOSUR, on production, technological policy, environmental management of industry, the impact of foreign direct investment, international competitiveness, the national system of innovation and technological policies.
